Numbness: Possibly permanent. 15 stitches is pretty good laceration. Possible one of your nerves could be permanently damage. However, nerves can take time to come in and it may be that over the next 3 months your feeling will come back.

i have been experiencing numbness in my face, when this happens, my husband says while i am taking my upper lip does not move. normal?

Not normal: Please see your doctor for a full check up. Quite possibly this could be a sign of a neurological problem.

will a frenectomy change my lip shape or smile? if my lip isnt attached to my gums the same as before, will that mean it has a different shape after? will my upper lip be more droopy or not stretch the same when i smile? my dentist says its the best way

Your : Your lip shape will be unaffected. So your smile will be just as nice as before. So only a defect will be corrected and not traded.

1 and half month ago i got an accident and got injured my lips. i got stitches on my uper lips. now i have a blister like swelling on the mid of my upper lip tip. what is this? i feel numbness over there.. you reply will be highly appreciated. thanks?

: A herpetic lesion appears likely among many possibilities. While they heal OK, they tend to recur in time. Talk to your doc in order to confirm the diagnosis and have it properly addressed.

Not really: No,  not normal.  If this persists and/or spreads,  you should be seen by a doctor.  You might even need to see a neurologist.

Herpes: This might be the beginning symptoms of a cold sore, which is csused by a herpes virus, which can be spreadby kissing.  Try abreva over the counter or see a dr to get a prescription for valacyclovir.

Concerning Symptoms: Your symptoms are concerning.  List of possible causes is rather long.  Neurological, endocrine, electrolyte imbalance, vascular issues, infection and others all possible. Treatment options may be a course of prednisone , Zyrtec&amp; Zantac (ranitidine).( to block both histamine receptors) Seek prompt attention is symptoms persist or worsen. If no trigger is identified you need to see an allergist for further testing. Also a review of medications.
