It typically occurs on one side of the face and comes on suddenly. Facial nerve disorders affect the muscles of the face, scalp
and tongue.

The feeling of numbness and dizziness makes me think of neurolological changes. Since you woke up with these symptoms, I would suggest going to the ER to be evaluated. This could be serious.

i hit my head diving into too shallow pool. hurts in the back and middle-back .left side scalp sensitive/numb. should i be worried? 2 weeks ago.

No: If you only have localized scalp tenderness at the point of impact, this should subside gradually. However if you have other concussion symptoms such as dizziness, balance difficulty, memory impairment or visual changes, then you should seek in person medical care.

Massage for muscle: Perhaps this is swelling of the muscle. Try GENTLE massage - no heat.  Try not chewing hard for a few days to rest the muscle called Temporalis Muscle.

Neurologist: The brain lesion may well be causing these symptoms on the opposite side of the body. You should be reporting these symptoms to your neurologist or neurosurgeon so that prompt treatment,if needed, can prevent further brain damage or seizures.
