Probably anxious: Sudden nosebleeds can be anxiety laden events especially if spontaneous, without provocation, &amp; since it always appears much more blood is lost than actually happens many get nervous &amp; may even feel sick or faint but not from blood loss- from the emotion of the event. Having said that, if your brother actually had a MAJOR nosebleed then, he should drink some fluids and rest. If no better see doc.

Excessive nose bleed: Excessive bleed can cause anemia and this can cause dizziness . Make sure u dad is seen by his  physician for evaluation and work up.

earlier i got very dizzy and the i got a bad headache, it lasted a few hours and then i got a nosebleed and the headache was gone and it he about 15 minutes later i had another bad headache and then another nosebleed and it went away again and it repeated

Not normal!: Your symptoms are certainly not normal.  You do not give your age and/or your other medical problems or meds, so it is tough to say what is going on. A severe  headache with dizziness, with or without nosebleeds, needs to be evaluated right away.  Call your doc or go to an ER.

Go to ENT : Needs ENT evaluation for fulguration of vessels.  Apply vaseline for dryness of the nasa, mucosa. Avoid Aspirin like meds during bleeding. Rule out causes of epistaxis like blood pressure, wegener's granulomatosis others.
