Irritated nerve: May spontaneously resolve. Seek medical attention if persists,spreads,or you notice weakness of area(inability to raise eyebrow) or a rash develops. Watchful waiting.

Accepted Answer

Radiculopathy: It sounds like a disc has herniated in your neck or some other issues closing off the opening your nerve roots run through to exit the cervical spine. These are classic symptoms and I recommend seeing a physician sooner than later to identify if there is anything emergent or surgical necessity to avoid arm paralysis. You may not need anything but a Medrol (methylprednisolone) dose pack, but get checked to be sure.

Nasal fullness: Bending over increases the pressure and vascular congestion in the nasal passages giving the sensation of fullness and impending nose bleeding. The same sensation can sometimes be felt in the frontal sinuses in the forehead.

was tilting my head down while sitting and felt a moving bouncy elevator kind of feeling. i have sinus congestion in nose often. sinuses causing this?

Sinus: Probably not. Possibly inner ear or neck related. See an ENT if it persists

Numbness : you should see a dr immediately and get an evaluation. Numbness and shooting pain can be due to several possible causes.

breathing feels constricted when i'm completely upright but opens up when i tilt my head down. could this be related to gerd? anything else?

It could be GERD...: it may be, Also possibly an inflammation or even enlargement of the tonsils could be doing it, as if you move the neck a certain way, the tonsils could shift for example and allow more air flow to pass.  Al just guesses. Get and evaluation to see why you are having breathing issues. Good luck.

when i tilt my head from side to side, or back and forth it feels like fluid moving around, get vertigo mainly when lying down, and rising back up.

Ear problem: Try sleeping on an extra pillow and taking an over the counter decongestant medication with your pharmacist's knowledge of your other medications. Seek medical examination if the vertigo becomes to severe to function beyond the few minutes adjusting to rising up in the morning.  Do not put anything in your ear, but a warm compress over the ear may be comforting.

NERVE COMPRESSION: You could be having greater occipital nerve compression. See a neurologist or pain  practioner.

Accepted Answer

Yes: Any time you have numbness, something has happened to the sensory nerve carrying information to your brain. Very rarely it is due to damage in the brain itself. Too much alcohol can cause numbing of the face nerves. If it persists you must see a neurologist.
