More info needed: Platelet count of 170,000 is normal.

You did not state what your white count was or your hematocrit.  Are your liver function studies normal?  Are PT and PTT normal?
Why are you worried about cirrhosis?  Has your doctor told you that you have signs of cirhosis?

my bili total1.3 direct 0.24 for a year got fatty liver my enzymes elevated on n off but normal now inr albumin platelets normal could it b cirrhosis?

Not cirrhosis: These bilirubin levels are normal as far as I'm concerned. Cirrhosis is not subtle. You would know something is bad-wrong. You're young and it sounds like you're health-conscious. Why not take advantage of the rest of the summer to increase your commitment to physical exercise? You liver will thank you. Best wishes.

if a person had thread looking veins on face and on chest would that mean liver problems if ast/alt albumin, bilirubin ,platelets alkaline phosphate,total protein,ggt are all normal?let me know?i do drink beer everyday i worry i have cirrhosis?

: No, that finding is not pathognomonic sign for liver cirrhosis. However, if you are so concerned about liver problem, you better cut down the consumption or stop drinking, it is never too late.

: Your blood work demonstrates that your liver is functioning normally with no evidence of cirrhosis or damage. If you're a rare person with cirrhosis whose LFTs are all normal, imaging tests and/or liver biopsy would be conclusive, but I'm not sure you'd get a physician or specialist to order any of these tests for you. Why don't you stop drinking alcohol if you're so concerned about liver issues?

My friend,: ..You paint a very bleak picture. Your dad is elderly and his bad cirrhosis makes it likely that any treatment for his hcc will cause more harm than good. I would respectfully suggest that you guys start focusing on confort measures rather than additional therapy. Of course, I do not know all the details so this is a conversation to have with his treating oncologist. Best to both.

Cirrhosis: Yes, the purpose of a liver biopsy is to look for any inflammation or fibrosis (cirrhosis) of the liver.   A normal liver biopsy mean you don't have cirrhosis.

Yes: With acute liver disease enzyme levels to return to normal once the inciting event has passed for example hep a. With chronic liver injury ( hep b)  there is an initial and sustained rise in enzymes as they are released from many injured cells.  As cells die off over time, there are fewer enzymes remaining to be released and levels may fall back to "normal." however, this is clearly not normal.
