Decrease sensation : It is not unusual to get loss of feeling along the suture line in a c- section. 1-2 years may be necessary before total feeling returns. If numbness persist return to your surgeon for reevaluation.

VBAC: Some people are candidates for a vaginal delivery after C-section (vbac). You can ask if you are a candidate. You can also ask if your doctor attends to these type of deliveries. Because of the elevated risk of uterine rupture many doctors choose not to offer this service. If you are a candidate and choose to accept the risk you may need to find a doctor who offers this service.

i had a c section 8 months back. my baby died at 3rd day of his life, so wanted to conceive again but this time want a normal delivery. is it possible?

Yes: It depends on the reason for the first c-section. If your pelvis is small for the size of the baby, then you'll need another surgery but if you had a c-section because your baby was in trouble, your obgyn doctor and you should discuss the possibility of having a normal vaginal delivery. Maternal health is another concern that plays a role regarding that decision. Talk to your doctor.

i am having pain in my cervix for months now,mostly to my right side.if i stretch or turn the pain is intense in my right side.i had a normal delivery 4 years ago and a c section 2 years ago.sex is very painful. please advice on what it could be. ?

Pelvic pain ?'s: Pelvic pain over a period of months may arise from an infection within the abdomen, which can form adhesions (scar tissue) and movement will aggravate the pain.  See your gyn physician for an exam, and possible pelvic ultrasound.  An ovarian cyst may also cause this sort of pain.

36 weeks preg. baby is normal. cephalic.whether a c- section or normal delivery is good for me? i had a prev myomectomy removed very small fibroids(2cm)

Operative report: Having a c-section after a myomectomy is dependent on the extensiveness of your surgery. If your surgery required entry into the inner uterine lining, then you might be at a higher risk of uterine rupture with a normal vaginal delivery . However your fibroids seem very small , unlikely to have done significant damage , especially if laparoscopic. Check with your ob; i'd lean towards vag delivery.

is it normal to have swelling on stomatch even after 1 year of c section? i had bruising on the same area please note that i was having normal delivery,was having labour pains for 1 day and then baby got in distress & emergency c section was done?

: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. Could the swelling be from weight gain?  It would be prudent to see a doctor. Wish you good health!

Increased C/S risk.: As our society is moving to later reproduction and more assisted conceptions for subfertility in the midst of an obesity epidemic (with concurrent diabetes mellitus and hypertension morbidities), i expect the overall c-section to keep rising for the foreseeable future. If you were born via c-section you were probably too big for your mother's pelvis and that's likely to recur when you deliver.

Vaginal: it depends , vaginal is  preferred ,
unless  you have contraindications for  it 
i would check with your OB first

Generally not : The risk of uterine rupture goes up with each cesarean. Most doctors will not allow a vaginal delivery with more than one cesarean.  You could possible get away with it but don't take unnecessary risk to you or your baby.

delivery by cesarean section is one of the predisposing factors of neonatal respiratory distress syndrome, why? and how?

??RDS??: I would agree more cs babies have respiratory pbs than regular delivery but the issue is ttn ( transient tachypnea of the newborn) not rds.A trip down the birth canal helps squeeze some of the lung fluid out before birth, which does not happen for cs. About 10% of cs will have to work hard  to clear that fluid & may require o2 & special care in the process.It usually clears in < 48hr.
