By echocardiogram?: The 'normal range' of aortic root diameters varies based on (1) the modality used (most commonly used is ultrasound / echocardiogram) and (2) your height. The usual upper estimate is 2.1 cm/m of height. For someone who is 73 in tall (such as yourself), that translates to an upper limit of 3.8 cm, which is exactly what is measured in your case. Aorta : In general normal aorta won't progressively dilate from exercise alone. That said some inherited problems with the aorta are relatively silent and go undetected in families. Discussion with your doctor who knows your history can give input more specific to you.

Not necessarily.: There is a significant difference is the average size of the female abdominal aorta versus the male aorta.
The average size of the female is about  1.8-2.5 cm, 
and the average size of the male aorta is higher.
If the distal vessels, going to the legs are of normal 
size and caliber, and the patient is female-there is no concern.  If male, then a better look at the walls
of the aorta, is needed.

Unknown: If abnormality seen, it would be reported. It also depends on what type of study this was reported on. Echocardiogram and ct scan are the most common studies where the ascending aorta is seen and reported. Ct is a better study at accurately measuring the aorta.

2-3.5 PSI: Pressure in the aorta is measured in mm of mercury, or mmhg. To convert to psi, divide normal aortic pressure of 100-180 mmhg by 10 to get cmhg, then use any simple conversion chart or app. It works out to 1.9 to 3.5 psi. Curious as to why you would want to know this though?

Not normal : It is not normal to have a hole in the aorta. If a hole is present, it would lead to internal bleeding. Occasionally, abnormal connections between aorta and other structures or blood vessels could be seen which may be contained and/or tolerated. Further detail is needed to answer this question.

Marfan: It probably happens but can't remember ever seeing a patient without some aortic dilation.
