STD?: Your CBC will not diagnose std's.  Generic rash descriptions are vague at best.  You must have some reason to suspect an std other than these things and have consulted someone to have obtained a CBC so my advice is to go back and be frank with your physician.

No: The body produces and distributes white cells as needed. The white blood cells most often found in the vaginal discharge are neutrophilic polymorphonuclear leukocytes, and these are called 'blood cells' simply because they're easily obtained from blood (where they travel) but visit many sites while on their tours of duty.

my high vaginal swab test results show epithelial cells: 8-12/hpf, wbc:1-2/hpf, bacteria: ++, clue cells: 4-6/hpf. no fungal spores or trichomonas. what does this mean?

: Clue cells are certain cells in the vagina (vaginal epithelial cells) that appear fuzzy without sharp edges under a microscope. Clue cells change to this fuzzy look when they are coated with bacteria. If clue cells are seen, it means bacterial vaginosis is present. If you have any symptoms you should discuss that with your gynecologist.

Other ones: Were you tested for BV (bacterial vaginosis), mycoplasma, ureaplasma? While gonorrhea/chlamydia is a lab test, trich is usually done in the office and may be missed. There is affirm test that uses dna method of detection for bv, trich and yeast that is more sensitive in my experience. Also, ureaplasma and mycoplasma are the infections not tested for and often not considered by providers.

: Your vagina colonizes many bacteria, especially the gram negative bacilli. Culture result did not grow pathogen and that is the key. In summary, your vaginal swab is normal.

i recently did a quick check of my vagina this morning and saw a black bump right on the outside of the opening of my vagina. what does this mean? it doesnt itch, burn, or anything. its just there?

: Without seeing it, it is impossible to diagnose what it is. If it persists, you should make an appointment to see your gynecologist. Good luck.
