was on clomid (clomiphene) 3weeks ago.  had cramping since then.was for blood test a week ago but was negative. no period. still cramping bad. can i still be pregn?

Yes: You maybe pregnant but you could also have a cyst. I would do a pregnancy and call your doctor.

First step, PG test: The first step, if you are sexually active is a pregnancy test. The Second step is to see a GYN MD for assessment even if the test is negative to find out why your period has been delayed as it can be '"jump started" with medication if needed.

Pregnancy: Continued cramping suggests that your uterus is not completely empty.  You could have some other cause of the pain but first thing to do is to get pregnancy test.  If it continues, see someone.

Several things: This could be an ovarian cyst which is common and often occurs in the last half of the cycle before the onset of bleeding and sometimes ruptures causing more discomfort. These may also take a week or so to resolve.  This could also be urinary tract infection, endometriosis or unrelated such as gastrointestinal problem.  See your doctor if the symptoms persist.

Pregnant?: Could have occurred for a number of reasons, but the one easiest for you to check would be to do a pregnancy test.

Period ?'s: Cramps precede the onset of bleeding, and on occasion, clots will form and block the release of blood, which makes the bleeding seen appear "light".  Clots are then forced from the cervical canal, and more intense cramping will be experienced.

: Due to cyclical hormonal changes you can have changes in your emotions. Irregular periods are usually not a problem and only become an issue if you are trying to get pregnant. since that doesn't appear to be the case, there is nothing to worry about.

Possible reasons: For cramps after your period can include:  remaining prostaglandins in your system after your period – causing continued cramps. Sometimes your period hasn’t actually ended – it has transiently slowed or stopped. Other reasons for cramping could be pregnancy or ovulation.

Long period: A longer period, with or without cramps can represent an anovulatory cycle, a spontaneous miscarriage or pregnancy  if you are sexually active, or an infection.   I would seek medical attention to determine the reason you are still bleeding.
