Risk is quite low: The risk of "getting pregnant while being on Nexplanon" is reported to be about  0.05% , that is about 1 to 5 per 10, 000 women in a year. Using either a male condom or a female condom would reduce the risk even further.

Birth Control: I am not sure why you are worried. Did you just get the birth control in the recent week? The reason we use birth control is to save our mental health from needless worrying about unwanted pregnancies.  This form of birth control is very effective at preventing unwanted pregnancy.

Very low: The Nexplanon implant contains a progestin, a hormone, which provides long-acting reversible contraception.  It has been called the most effective form of birth control available with a failure rate of 0.05% after proper insertion. Adding a condom to this offers no measurable additional protection.  However, also using a condom provides protection from sexually transmitted infection.

No, but can do test: A urine pregnancy test, done correctly, gives a reliable result 3 weeks after sex (3 weeks after when conception might have occurred), or 1 week after missing a period. If done sooner, a positive result is likely real, but a negative result may be due to testing too soon, and thus lead to a repeat test.

Yes: There is a drug interaction listed which states that the efficacy of the contraceptive is decreased. The other issue is why are you taking cephalexin to treat a paronychia. You might switch to a penicillin. Discuss it with your doc.

You can: When on nexplanon, as your doctor likely told you, it can stop your menses and this is completely okay.  Your lining has thinned such that there isn't anything to bleed from.  The chance of pregnancy with Nexplanon is 1%.  It's awesome that you're using a condom too, to help prevent stds and serve as back up.  Plan b will definitely help prevent ovulation, take as soon as possible to get benefit.

Nexplanon: You are on Nexplanon which is one of the most effective birth control methods.  Using condoms also helps prevent STD transmission but you were already protected against pregnancy with the Nexplanon implant
