See answer: Nitrofurantion taken for 5-7 days usually a good antibiotic for a simple bladder infection but not a good choice if kidney infection is suspected (fever, chills, flank pain, nausea, feeling sick).  Your symptoms of brownish vaginal discharge and dull backache (if low), suggest a gynecological origin unrelated to your UTI (pending or abnormal period, vaginitis, etc). If persists/worsens, call md.

Yes: Double ovulation is an interesting phenomenon. Its most commonly seen as having  "twins", "triplets" etc but  some people will end one period but also ovulate shortly after.

Its not bad to stop taking birth controls all together unless you want withdrawal bleeding from lack of the hormones. I'd advise you to continue your birth control unless you are trying to get pregnant.

If you do not wish to be pregnant, use contraception all the time, every time. You may consider implanted contraceptive, or IUD.

This : This question is 5 days old so you have likely made a decision as to whether to start a new pack or continue the old one. However, for the future, you did the right thing. If you miss a pill you should restart as soon as you realize it. With low dose pills, missing one or two days can trigger bleeding in midcycle as a result of the hormone withdrawal. If more than 2 days go by without pills you should utilize a back up method such as condoms and/or the "morning after" pill to increase your protection against unwanted pregnancy.
