Yes most of the time: It is occlusive in about 95 percent of patients .There is a small group of people in whom it may take 6 months for the test to become positive.So to be 100 percent sure get it checked at 6 months.

Unsure: This rash needs to be visualized &amp; a history needs to be obtained in order to make an accurate diagnosis.  Sometimes lab testing or biopsy is necessary.

Doesn&#x27;t matter: At 15 months, it doesn&#x27;t matter. Any and all HIV tests that exist will detect HIV infection if more than a few weeks have passed and for sure after 3 months. If your test result was negative, for sure you don&#x27;t have HIV. That said, my understanding is that most UK GUM clinics routinely use the duo test for antibody and antigen. But why don&#x27;t you just call the clinic and ask?

went to gum clinic not an sti. said looks like it is eczema/ psoriasis.  only responds to steroid cream but returns. what should i do next?

See Dr again: If the GUM/STI clinic says its not an STI, next step is to see your GP. Eczema or psoriasis often recur after steroid treatment. More likely to recur if there's a local yeast or bacterial  infection (or skin products you use) irritating the skin too. See your Dr to review your treatment. In the meantime, avoid soap &amp; use a bland moisturiser to protect your skin and reduce irritation. Good luck!

Maybe: dermatologic conditions are hard to discuss without seeing them. several possibilites include:
genital wart (hard, non-fluid filled)
infected hair follicle or boil (generally seems infected)

Stress possibly.: Your  symptoms are very vague and do not point to a single illness. If you are going through some kind of stressful situation in your life or hove anxiety, then that would cause all the symptoms. if not then you should go and see your regular physician for a complete checkup to rule out any proble.  For the tooth and gum problem you should see a dentist.

Doubt urethritis: If "inflamed" includes urethral discharge and/or white blood cells, ask the GUM clinic about testing and/or treating for possible Mycoplasma genitalium and trichomonas. If you only have urinary discomfort or a little redness at the opening, with no discharge or increased WBC, probably you have no infection at all. Probably you have nothing that will ever harm you or sex partners. Good luck!
