Moregellons: This is a rare condition i believe more common in women i would see a dermatologist at a tertiary medical center.

: The old way, common sense and being able to adjust to game time decisions. If healthy and vaccinated/boosted you should have peace of mind at least, going forward there will be no guarantee that no rapidly spreadable disease will take place, specifically on cruises.

Not a myth: There are surgical treatments available to improve lung function in patients with unilateral (one sided) phrenic nerve paralysis.  None of the procedures is 100% effective and all have potential complications.  The risks and benefits must be carefully weighed.  The more impaired your breathing is, the more potential benefit you can get.  Start by discussing this w.  your PCP.

Probably Not.: I don't think so but other forms of TB are contagious so I would use careful contact precautions and hand washing until it is properly treated. UMDNJ in Newark (now part of Rutgers) is a registered TB center so I would probably contact their ID department because they probably have experience with this rare condition.

GREAT IDEA!: If you just get a referral from insurance etc can find a therapist that will do a letter. Just need to explain the reason..
I have done this many time for my patients and have my own little therapy dog at work. His name is teddy and he is a teacup yorkie patients come to see him definiitely.
