See below: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Having said that, your neutrophil count is a little above normal, however, that by itself is not a cause for concern.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, low fat milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex.

: You are describing fragments of a complete blood count (CBC). The report usually starts with the total White Blood Cells WBC. What you wrote down are the two predominant WBC' types. Your total WBC on this test would have been about 5857. These numbers change so rapidly that this test done a month ago has no relevance now. For example, in less than 12 hrs. your lymphocytes went from 970 to 2,460.

Why do you ask?: Without abnormal forms in your blood, and assuming the absolute counts were reasonably close to the reference range, this does not suggest preleukemia or anything else.

Hard to say: Any lab result gives a number that is compared to a range of normal. But even the extremes of "too high" can still be normal for an individual. If the result is a change, then a high neutrophil count makes me think of infection(since that is one of the bodies responses), inflammation, stress, reaction to medication or even cancer like leukemia. Talk with provider who ordered test to put in context.
