Severe spinal curve: The spine curves with eventual kinking of nerve in spinal canal the curve have to be huge kyphosis forward bending is a risk for neuro problems.

why is a head ct no longer indicated after 24 hours of a head trauma? is it b/c a neurologic problem would be obvious from h&p after that time frame?

What could it show?: If you aren't having any symptoms at that point, chances are that the CT will show nothing. Most neurological symptoms are quick to develop (within 24 hrs) if they occur &amp; would be permanent if they persisted for 1 day. Besides, what diference would a CT scan make? If a neurological exam isn't abnormal, then there's nothing to do with any CT scan result: it's exposure to radiation &amp; wasting money.

i have migraines. my problem is with the neurological symptoms, not the head pain. is there a medication that addresses these symptoms?

Migraine.: Anti migraine meds treat the "migraine" which generally includes the whole enchilada.  I do not see that you have been taking any anti migraine meds. May be time to discuss with your doc.

i have a real muscle weakness, but its probably due to a neurological problem.is it safe to take medication contraindicated for myasthenia (i.e. clotiazepam)?

: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without taking additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. It would be prudent to see your doctor and discuss if you may be depressed. Counter-intuitive as it may seem, exercise may help. Start with low intensity exercise such as walking and gradually increase the intensity as tolerated. Drink more water. Wish you good health!

should neurology patients on immune-modulatory therapy go off medication because of the risk posed by covid-19?

Only: On a case to case basis as advised by prescribing neurologist. Not all immune modulatory treatments are predisposing patients to more severe cases of COVID and the risk/benefit ratio should be well weighed prior to any changes.

i've been on a medication that suppresses my immune system for many months for my neurologic condition and it is effective. now i'm wondering if i should stop taking it while covid-19 is spreading near me?

No: The only person that has the authority to decide about changes in your meds is your neurologist. What you can do is trying to be as cautious as you can be in getting exposed to it.

can you have oscillopsia without nystagmus? is it from a neurological disorder like ms or brain tumor? all ophthalmology visits normal and only happened one time. felt like things were moving ? just started new medication? could it have been vertigo?

: Your one isolated event would not be consistent with any ongoing or future neurological disease, and perhaps was a transient "new medication" reaction.
