what would cause your muscles to over work ? my doctor told me.my burning pain is from pots and my muscles overworking ? i don't get it ? possible ?

Need more info: Or is possible to "overwork" your muscles.   This usually suggests there is passion and fatigue of the muscles that can be associated with inc blood test called ck.  However there are other things that can cause this, such as thyroid disease and inflammatory conditions. Need to know if your dr did labs or other test to clarify symptoms.  Burning paincan be seen with nerve inflammation/irritation.

why would an adrenaline attack / stress cause burning muscles and extremities?  i have lots of medical conditions pots etc...

Possible : The possible causes of your symptoms are many. A thorough medical history, examination along with appropriate testing would be the best course to try and identify the cause of your complaints. Couple of thoughts: Gilbert's and 1st degree av block are asymptomatic and probably not relevant. Gerd doesn't affect muscles. But make sure they checked your blood for sedimentation rate and CRP (markers of inflammation) and the muscle enzyme ck which can be elevated in some muscle conditions. Good luck.

Doubt it: These medications do not cause these symptoms.

i just used my neti pot to irrigate on my left nostril and my right ear started burning like salt on an open wound.  what's going on?

Hard to know: If the saline solution is properly balanced, it should not sting.  It will sting if the salt concentration is too high, but this may be exacerbated if there is irritation of the throat in the area of the right eustachian tube (tube that drains inner R ear).  Whether solution reaches the throat sinuses depends on flushing velocity and head position. Using a squeeze bottle helps to control velocity.

STOP acronyms now: Someone more acronymically-attuned than i will surely be able to answer your question but i must comment that acronyms usually reflect provincialism within medical specialties. For instance i get consults from ophthalmologists so crammed with acronyms that I have to call them to find out what they mean. The new saying is "if you don't have the facts on your side, baffle them with acronyms".

POTS: Syndrome is a group of symptoms
pots, is postural orthostatic and tachycardia, is a dysfunction of blood pressure and heart rate , it is not fatal.

Related to POTS: It is a test of  autonomic nerve function.  Because of  low blood pressure  the circulation to the nerves is faulty and the nerves that control sweat are not working.  
Eating 6 small meals a  day, avoiding, alcohol, and high carbohydrate meals,  eating  your water by eating vegetables through the day every 3 hours, and exercising, while lying down if necessary  can be helpful.

why does increasing salt in diet help pots syndrome?

Accepted Answer

: An increase in the salt increases your blood volume and may partially help prevent the decrease in the blood pressure leading to dizziness, fainting etc. Please ask your physician the reason for the recommendation rather than blindly following the recommendation.
