See below: While there are many causes of leg pain and numbness one of the most common causes is lumbar radiculopathy.  This occurs when one of the nerves leaving the back gets compressed as it leaves the spine and travels down the leg.  Compression may occur due to degenerative/bulging discs or arthritic bone spurs contacting the nerve.  See your physician if these symptoms last longer than 2 weeks.

i have fused spine l5/s1 severe nerve impingement both sides of exiting l5 nerve root, but my question is when do doctors become concerned of low creatinine levels, i'm almost 38 1/13/20 level was 0.62 4/22/20 was 0.60 and 7/13/20 was 0.51 legs weak.

Muscle mass: Low creatinine per se is not an issue. It reflects decrease in muscle mass and activity. You need to consult your doctor and discuss the need for physical therapy to regain muscle mass and strength.

Physical therapy: In a case where there are symptoms of nerve impingement, and some tests show it (MRI) and others don't (EMG), this may reflect the positional and postural nature of the way our spinal cord and nerve roots move in our body.  Rather than get more testing, consider physical therapy. If several weeks of PT had no benefit, then follow-up in person with a neurologist, physiatrist, or neurosurgeon.

Still pinched nerve: What is missing is complete history and in your case, more importantly, your exam. An emg/ncs by Rehab Dr. or Neurologist may show which nerves. MRI performed with flexion/extension films may show different results. MRI not perfect. They are a picture. You are more than a picture.

Neck pain: No , you should be evaluated by a doc asap and may require MRI of neck. The problem could be from spinal cord involvement.

Yes : I have had a few occasions to operate  on patients with this problem with success. The problem is more convincing insurers to allow it than anything else. My theory is that pressure from the disk pushes the nerves against the bone on the other side thus creating opposite symptoms. I have seen this in both lumbar and cervical spines.

Likely not: Numbness involving this much of your body can't be from a single "pinched" nerve. You should talk to your doctor about getting imaging of your brain to rule out things like a stroke, hemorrhage, or tumor.

Shooting Pains: Pinched nerves can definitely give these symptoms, along with bulging discs. I am a podiatrist so the arm shooting pain is out of my field, but cardio issues need to be ruled out for sure. I visit to your primary is recommended. Dr Rich Blake
