Bigger problems: Don't worry about sinus mucocele, bigger problems hunger, poverty, preventable diseases etc are big problems that will kill people, benign sinus mucocele  is not going to kill, and worry  about 40 million americans has no health insurance..

Many benign causes: If treatment is not successful then the ENT may need to look inside and possibly "clean" and have the sinus material analyzed at the same time. ? Allerigies.

Only if True Emergen: Sinus can be opacified  yet not cause any serious symptoms. Unless you have high fever and or severe headache, you can wait to see your  own doctor in his /her office. ER is a bad place to go unless you are getting into a bad shape yourself.

Pilonidal Sinus: Unfortunately, the only way to completely remove a pilonidal sinus is by having surgery. Without surgery to remove it, the pilonidal cyst and sinus carry a risk of repeated infections and abscess formation.

for a month have fullness in ear and maxillary sinus. md says eustachean tube blockage from sinusitis. what for relief? will this go away by itself?

Clogged ear: Should be on Abx. Augmentn, Zithromax, Avelox, etc. Pop your ears several times an hour. Idea is to get ear back in middle ear space. No smoking or alcohol. Probably best to see ENT for exam.

By History&amp;Physical: The doctors diagnose any medical condition by first taking a detailed History and doing a Physical Exam and in some cases they order tests like blood test and/or Xrays,CAT Scan/MRI/Ultrasound and other tests
In case of blocked sinus or sinusitis History and Physical may be enough but sometimes we have to do a CAT Scan to confirm our diagnosis.
That is what doctors are trained for

Blocked sinus: Blockage of a sinus cavity usually leads to a buildup of mucus and this increased pressure often causes discomfort like headache or cheek discomfort. A ct scan of the paranasal sinuses would show inspissated fluid or thickening of the sinus lining. Some people with fluid in a sinus may have no symptoms. An otolaryngologist is best qualified to evaluate and advise you.

Some suggestions: Here are some suggestions for avoiding sinus infections.
Don't smoke or be around anyone that is smoking. Us nasal saline (can buy at pharmacy) frequently. Consider using a neti pot 2-3 times a week. Eat a healthy diet and get adequate sleep. Take a multivitamin. See ENT physician if problems persist.
