Saline rinses: Can help. Use only if you have a source of pure water. Some sinus specialists try irrigation with a small amount of shampoo or dish detergent added to the water. Soap helps break up the slimey glue known as biofilms in which the bacteria in your sinuses live & hide. Mucocele is a challenging problem even in 1st world countries. Antibiotics are not very effective against slow-growing bacteria.
