No: Nothing is normal especially nausea and headaches. There is something abnormal that needs to be investigated. People do not have headaches or nausea without a reason. Get it checked!

Stomach acid: Too much stomach acid can irritate the stomach lining and cause nausea. Try an over the counter acid reducer like zantac (ranitidine) or prilosec before you go to bed and see if that helps. Also try avoiding alcohol, caffeine, acidic foods like citrus, and nicotine. Don't eat within 3-4 hours of going to bed at night. I hope you are feeling better soon. See doctor if it persists.

Low serum potassium: Mild hypokalemia -- slightly low potassium levels -- can cause these symptoms.  Since this occurs only upon awakening in the morning, the cause of the lowered potassium level is probably easily corrected.  Eating a banana sometime between dinner and bedtime may solve your problem.

Primary doc / GI?: I'd start with your primary doc. Perhaps it is due to medications you are taking before bed, or some other obvious cause once a good history is taken.  If you are waking up due to nausea, it sounds like the sleep issues are secondary to GI issues/nausea.  If you need a specialist, i'd think GI would be your best bet.  Good luck!
