Sugar dropping: If your breakfast is high in carbs and doesn't contain any protein or fat, your sugar level goes up, your body responds by releasing Insulin and then your sugar drops. It's all gone in 2-3 hours.

Make sure you have protein and some fat in your breakfast too.  Those calories take longer to be digested and enter the blood after the carbohydrates,  helps you got 4-5 hours between meals.
