See below: Is this the hip/femoral head area?  If so, it could be a simple bruise but a fracture is a possibility as well.  What was the mechanism of injury.  If traumatic, an evaluation is warranted.

Pain: It depends whether you bruised your muscle oly or had a bone bruise as well. Initiallt iwould use ice packs to reduce the swelling. After 48 hours i would start using hot packs especially if you have only muscle involvement. A bone bruise may take up to 2 months to heal. Discolorationmay take up to a month to clear depending on how ectensive the bruise is.

Coccyx: Once the coccyx is injured or inflamed it remains tender for days, weeks or months. Avoid sitting on hard surfaces, use padding. Hopefully your coccygeal symptoms won't be long lasting. See an orthopedic specialist as needed.

Imaging: See your doctor for a full examination of your hand. You may need further imaging such as X Ray/ MRI to rule out underlying bony or ligament damage

Maybe...: but without swelling or deformity it seems less likely.  No immediate treatment is necessary, and the bruise should heal like any other bruise. However, without seeing it I can't rule out a fracture.  If in doubt, see your doctor or Urgent Care.

Ortho evaluation: Symptoms persisting for two months require expert evaluation with radiographic and perhaps mr exams. History and physical exam by orthopedic doctor necessary to determine problem and course of therapy

Arthritis : as far as I know, glucosamine is the only natural thing that would help arthritis (scientifically proven).  But your symptom may not be a plain arthritis.  It can be rheumatoid arthritis or other connective tissue disease.   I would go see your doctor.  Take care.

Ice and compression: Ice and compression to the area with a wrap.  Bruising is below the skin bleeding, so elevating the area will help relieve pressure.  Also, massaging the area gently while taking over the counter anti inflammatory meds.

Bruise: For the first 24 hours, i would ice the effected area to minimize the spread of the bruise. After 48 hours, heat may be applied to allow the blood to disperse about the body. The amount of time it takes to heal is highly variable from person to person.
