Other causes: A much rarer cause for sores in your mucous membranes is behcets disease - worth discussing with your primary care doc. 
You can't tell a patient they have herpes if the test is negative.

Infection risk: The nose is one of your primary lines of defense against disease. The nasal membranes filter most of the airborne viruses, bacteria, pollutants, and other nasty stuff that you're constantly inhaling into it. When those membranes are damaged, the nasties go directly into your air passages and increase the chances that you will get sick.

Nasal vestibulitis: A raw area in the nose is frequently caused by a bacterial infection of the lining of the nose.  Sometimes this is MRSA (methicillin resistant staph aureus).  If not going away it should be looked at by an ent.  Frequently treated with  Mupirocin ointment, sometimes in combination with Doxycycline antibiotic pills.

can you use sudocrem up your nose on the mucous membrane bit? my nose keeps bleeding and won't heal. dr suggested sudocrem up there but is this safe?

Safe: We don't have Sudocrem in the US, but from what I was able to find about it via the manufacture's website, it should be fine to use on the inside of your nose. If you do use it and it causes an adverse reaction or irritation then stop (that is true for all topical creams/ointments).  Good luck.

my mucous membrane just inside my nose scabs over and never heals. i can get the scab off which is thin but it comes back. shouldn't this be biopsied?

See ENT: They are specialists and will be able to get you the best treatment and or tell you if the area needs to be biopsied.

can anti-histamine + nasal irrigation + cromolyn sodium spray help reduce chronic nasal turbinate, nasopharynx inflammation & mucus membrane swelling?

Unlikely: they can reduce discharge, sneezing, but not congestion or inflammation, you will need anti-inflammatory medications as steroid nasal sprays, but better be directed by an ENT specialist or an Allergist/Immunologist if you have access to one, best wishes

Not that I know of: These are such rare conditions that i doubt there are data to support or refute the presence of dryness in ffi.

Yes but...: Unusual but possible only if masseuse had active cutaneous lesions consistent with leprosy.

Unlikely: You would get it the same way that you would get hep B. You could be checked for it by having a blood test (for Hep C antigen, not antibody by PCR) and lucky for you even in the very low probability event that you really did contract hep C there is a cure for it today. Unfortunately Gilead Scieces is selling it for $1,000/pill x 90 days. Isn't capitalism wonderful?

Too long: Any smoker or tobacco chewer has residues that enter the tissue of the oral mucosa and leads to leukoplakia  (white lesions} that are pre-cancerous. Don't smoke and you won't croke!
