Personality problems: Psychopath and sociopath describe someone who lies, cheats, steals, exploits others, and has no remorse -- like antisocial personality disorder.  Narcissistic pd exploits others too, but they feel entitled and there's not so much lying.  Antisocial does it b/c he feels everyone else does it.  Borderline pd needs others desperately & falls apart when rejected. Dramatic, unstable, self-injuring.

Yes !,: Personality traits and not disorders can be observed  and seen in people on daily basis, so someone may show some traits of narcissism or psychopathy or both. However, making a diagnosis of a personality disorder along these lines, requires careful assessment and sometimes follow up over time  before that judgment can be made.

narcissistic personality=long-standing belief and acting that one is superior to others.

Sociopath/Psychopath: are basically the same disorder.  Sociopath is a newer term for psychopath.  Some people debate slight differences but the terms refer to complete disregard for the feelings and rights of others.  It's as if the person is born w/out a conscience.  Peace and good health.

Essentially, both are conditions where there is poor behavioral control, illegal behavior and a lack of remorse for hurting others.

Morality and Mental.: Both of these conditions can be dangerous and hard to experience.

I would not wish either on any one. 

However getting good mental health care is vital. Being honest with ones self and being willing to accept counsel and treatment is vital to living healthily.

But narcissism is used as an everyday, non-psychiatric label too.  In an informal sense it may mean someone who is self-important or too proud of themselves.  Many psych terms have a technical meaning and are used in casual speech too.
