how accurate are vaginal naat chlamydia tests at 6 days and two weeks post exposure? throat @ 10 days post? very anxious about an interaction 2 years ago. i have had a baby since - they did not test during pregnancy due to recent tests?

: That negative test result is nearly 100% conclusive. And chlamydia rarely lasts as long as two years; the immune system usually eliminates infection within that time. Oral chlamydia is rare; and when present, typically lasts only a couple of weeks. It does not cause sore throat or any other oral symptoms.

Cure the infection: Chlamydia will not prevent you from conceiving, but if you know you have it, get treated first.  If you discover you have it after conceiving (and you will be tested by your ob), you will be treated and retested to confirm cure.  Chlamydia is a problem for your unborn child only at birth.  A child passing down an infected birth canal can contract chlamydia with several serious consequences.
