is there a condition called middle ear myoclonus?

Yes: There are two middle ear muscles that are not under voluntary control.  The stapedius muscle which moves the stapes bone and the tensor tympani which moves the malleus.  Both muscles act to protect the inner ear from very loud noises.  Unfortunately, these muscles can go into spasm and cause uncomfortable symptoms of vibration or clicking.  Spontaneous recovery or a muscle relaxant might help.

clicks in ear/throat off and on since nov, went away came back 2 weeks ago daily off and on. i have bfs,tinnitus,tmj,gerd and etd. someone said palatal myoclonus on here? i have an ent and neuromuscular dr. scopes/exam normal. what else could this be?

Rare: Opsoclonus myoclonus is a rare neurological disorder characterized by unsteady gait, intention tremor myoclonus (brief, shock-like muscle spasms), and opsoclonus (irregular, rapid, horizontal and vertical eye movements). Other symptoms may include dysphasia (difficulty speaking), dysarthria (poorly articulated speech), lethargy, irritability, malaise. It occurs in viral illnesses and tumors.

Stress will worsen: The stress is not the cause, but could make the symptoms seem far worse.  Real question involves why you are experiencing the problems you describe.  Do you have an over-active thyroid gland, is there muscular irritability, are some of the movements consistent with seizure activity, or a spinal cord problem?  In essence, get a full evaluation, as this is not emotional.

Not muscle : Myoclonus is a neurological sign that is due to elevated reflexes.  Elevated reflexes, particularly if just on one side, can represent a spinal cord or brain issue.  It is a nerve issue, not a muscle disease.  So you can't fix it by doing something to your muscles.

is sleep myoclonus safe? would stretching help/lifting light weights for upper body? anything i can do to help it, exercise? mine is due to anxiety.

Sleep myoclonus: It is generally not important other than it interrupts your sleep. If you have significant fatigue you should ask your primary doctor to try muscle relaxer at bedtime.

NOT epilepsy: You likely suffer Periodic Limb Movements in Sleep, which is a similar problem to Restless Leg Syndrome, and can be treated with any of a number of dopamine agonists.  See a neurologist.

Sudden muscle jerk: Myoclonus is a sudden limb or trunk jerk which is involuntary.  It can be associated with sleep issues, both benign and disruptive, but also can be a consequence of epilepsy, hypoxia, and following brain infections, such as hiv.  Management depends on causation.
