Probable UTI: If the UTI diagnosis was made without microscopic exam or urine culture and sensitivity then it is probably invalid. It sounds very much like a urinary tract infection with the frequency and cloudy urine. If it clops like and neighs like a horse, we generally don't call it a zebra unless we are in Africa. In other words, this is probably a UTI(common horse).

Test urine: Cloudy smelly urine should be analyzed to assure a bacterial infection is not the cause. Untreated urinary tract infections can occasionally cause serious illness.

UTI? Or unrelated?: These may be unrelated, but possible urinary tract infection with kidney involvement (pyelonephritis). Strong urine odor usually results from changes in diet and/or reduced fluid intake (concentrated urine smells strong). But "side pain" and cloudy urine could be due to UTI. This could be serious:  see a doctor soon -- if painful or urgent urination, or if any fever, do it immediately. Good luck!

UTI?: I would consider the diagnosis of a urinary tract infection which can cause cloudy urine which smells unusual.  The coffee smell may be related to a particular organism in the urine or it may be that the organism breaks down substances in the urine causing it to smell like coffee.  Get a urine analysis and culture.

See your doctor!: It sound like you may have an infection either in your kidney or bladder.  You may also be dehydrated.  Drink large amounts of water and see your primary care physician for an examination and urinalysis, possible blood work and xrays.

Might be nothing: It could be nothing, but it could represent some protein in the urine.  If it is fairly constant, you should see your doctor and have a urinalysis.  Usually an infection will cause some burning and urgency to pee, but sometimes an infection can be without much in the way of symptoms, so get the urinalysis and maybe a culture to be sure.

Cloudy urine: Most of the time cloudy urine can be normal .Occasionally it can be seen when one is dehydrated or if there are a lot or crystals in the urine.

Yes: But are you diabetic and are you trying to diet.  If no diabetes and not dieting.  Just increase you water intake and that should be corrected.

Concentrated urine: Being a bit dehydrated and not eating enough can do it. Start drinking 8 glasses a day.
