my upper left side hurts after carrying a heavy object it's been 3 months and the pain still keeps me up at night. what's happening? what can i do?

Left sided pain: Since it is persisting for 3 months would seek medical attention at doctor /urgent care.Could be constipation( though just when carrying is unusual), muscle strain,rare internal hernia( spigelian), disc herniation,  or ovarian/colon/kidney/mass pathology. See a doctor this week.

Constipation?: Sluggish materials in the gut can be problematic. Are bowel movements difficult to pass and hard?  You may have a build up of stool.

See doctor: I see that you are having multiple health issues. In general , if you have had a sudden change in bowel habits or pain lasting for more than 1-2 weeks,  it is a good idea to get  the bowel checked out preferably by a gastroenterologist.

Pain: I think you are referring to pain in your left upper abdomen. The cause of such pain may be various - kidney issues (such as infection or stone) diverticulitis, herpes zoster in the prodrome phase to name a few. More history and physical exam is needed to correctly diagnose the problem.

Angina: Angina is heart disease.  Angina by definition is block in coronary arterial blood flow usually by atherosclerosis, but sometimes by rare other causes such as Prinzmetal's angina, exercise induced (I got this once running ultra marathon), cocaine, and other causes.

my left upper back side is hurting whenever i get up or lay down or i cant even lay on my left side. it doesnt hurt when my wife touches it. only when i move around. it feels like the pain is coming from the inside. i dont play sports or anything.

Left side pain: May be kidney stone, may be GERD, may be colon lesion  or may be sciatica/ disc disease thoracic or lumbar( even if you were not a big sports person  as just sitting all day is detrimental to the back) or even discitis- infection/inflammation of disc. Would go to urgent care/ER  get imaging possibly CT scan  to evaluate. F/u/ with ER/urgent  care.

Could be: Many things.   Might be the beginning of a cold sore  the pain is present days before any signs occur.  Watch for any change in area.
