Sounds like it.: Could be viral upper respiratory tract infection which would generally include additional symptoms such as runny nose, sneezing, cough, etc. Could also be early strep throat which should not have many additional symptoms.

on my last day of tamiflu. my throat is starting to hurt a little bit again and i am worried for strep bc many have it in my dorm. can i start my zpac?

Only if doc approves: "Starting to hurt a little" isn't likely to be a strep throat, and neither azithromycin (Z-pak) nor any other antibiotic should be taken unless and until you have confirmed strep or other bacterial infection. Don't take it unless and until prescribed or recommended by your doctor. Having had Tamiflu shouldn't have anything to do with this decision one way or the other.

Can call Dr on video: Throat pain can be from a strep throat infection (antibiotics needed), a cold or influenza (antibiotics usually not used), or from some other cause such as allergies or irritants. Usually, a person sees the doctor (call first) if the sore throat is bothersome, recurrent, or doesn't go away quickly. COVID-19 infections tend to have cough, whereas strep usually lacks cough but has more throat pain.

i keep burping a lot after i eat and a lot of times food stomach acid comes up. my throat is starting to hurt because of it. less than a year ago i used to never burp but then suddenly i started doing it and it kept getting worse. what should i do?

Burping/acid: May be reflux with or without H pylori  a bacteria . Would get tested for H pylori and can try famotidine and or omeprazole for reflux. Avoid smoking, alcohol, fatty food, citrus or acid foods, spicy foods as they promote acid reflux. Would also check gallbladder for stones-with  sonogram. f/u/ w/ MD

See a doctor ASAP!: Your symptoms suggest a few possibilities. It's possible you have a simple viral infection (like a cold), you should be checked for streptococcal pharyngitis (strep throat) and infectious mononucleosis (mono). Strep can lead to scarlet fever or rheumatic fever (very dangerous) if not treated soon. Mono can lead to liver problems, spleen enlargement and even spleen rupture. Please get checked asap!

Rest: First stay on strictly clear liquid diet eat saltine crackers and soups and drink ginger ale and Sprite and eat yogurt to replace your GI flora and banana.if you could not keep yourself hydrated go to ER Or urgent care

Be seen: It is likely due to post nasal drip from allergies at this time of the year, but it could also be a chronic tonsillitis or similar infection.  Your doctor should be able to help.

Sore Throat: For significant sore throat with swollen tonsils / lymph nodes –  see physician &amp; get a strep throat test/ culture. If you have Strep Throat, antibiotic therapy is imperative to prevent future complications. Consider Tylenol (acetaminophen) or nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medications. Saltwater gargles: Mix 1 tsp salt in 8 oz warm water – gargle several times a day. Can gargle with Aloe Vera juice twice a day.
