i wake up every morning with stomach pain. pain lasts all day. had gallbladder removed five moths ago. any suggestions?

: The prolonged nature of the pain is concerning. Could be several things - stomach ulcer, gastritis, esophageal irritation, etc. This needs formal evaluation by a physician, probably with a gastroenterologist since sometimes may need an EGD ("scope") to evaluate.

Not generally: Pain is common in the groin (penis) but not usually the stomach.  If this continues, see your dr.

GER diet: Certain foods, activities, medications and conditions that increase pressure in your abdomen can trigger reflux.  People with acid reflux should generally avoid carbonated beverages, peppermint, chocolate, spicy foods, wine, and caffeine.  GER flare ups can create quite dramatic chest pain.  Some people require daily long term treatment to prevent symptoms and complications.

indirectly ingested tiger balm (camphor) because it was on fingers as i was eating. this happened five days ago and i had diarehea, stomach pain. now i have persistant headache and it is hard to concentrate and i feel tired. will this go away?

: The effect of a small amount of camphor ingested may not be related. Headache may be one sign of dehydration. Stay well hydrated and use a daily probiotic.

Depends: If this is the first time that this has happened, the pain can be managed with OTC medication, isn't getting worse and you don't have a fever I wouldn't be to concerned.  If you have any of the above symptoms however, you should seek medical care.  Good luck.

R/O  GERD/GASTRITIS: You need an exam and Labs including Hpylori Ab Ig G and M. Stool for hpylori  x 3. I usually start with Zantac 300mg.or Protonix (pantoprazole) 40MG symptoms have been longer than 8-10 weeks an endoscopy is warranted. Also an Abdominal US. Time to get checked: Maybe stomach but "stomach pain" can be caused by lots of things &amp; may indeed originate outside the GI tract. Further evaluation is in order before anyone can answer "what to do."  your doctor will want to re-examine you as well as know the quality, timing, duration, location, &amp; associations (eating, position, activity, stooling, urinating) of your pain to better direct the next appropriate test.

i have had gnawing stomach pain at naval last five years  since beginning coumadin (warfarin).   family dr. says it is hard on stomach & could be the cause. ?

Eval for ulcer: Coumadin (warfarin) by being a blood thinner can put you at risk for bleeding and of particular concern is the GI tract.  Mild gastritis can turn into significant bleeding when u have a blood thinner on board.  The symptoms u describe make that at least possible and should be looked into by your doctors.

i have a cyst on my left lower side of my stomach and i want it removed. i want it gone because i have stomach pain! it may be on my ovaries?

See a doctor: A cyst on the skin of your left lower abdomen is not likely to be an ovarian cyst.  however abdominal pain could be related to ovarian cyst or several other things.  You need to be seen by a doctor for further evaluation of your abdominal pain

No: You may have some pain in the first week or so but it shouldn't be severe. You should see your doctor or surgeon.
