Also, "functional" syndromes may be present without underlying "disease."  check with your doctor for examination & treatment options, particularly since your problem seems to be ongoing.

Go see a doctor: Post surgical complications can occur.  Your dad could have an ileus.  Maybe he has a infection in his abdomen.  Does he have a fever?  I would call your surgeon and let him know about this.

Water ;/or constipat: Many things can cause a lot of weight gain in 3 days. One is to retain water from hormone changes, too much salt, kidney, heart or liver problems. Another is constipation. If the weight gain is more then 5 lbs or continues to cause you distress see your pcp.

to mexico.  my stomach as extrnded

Diverticulitis: The change in your diet is likely making your GI condition worse.  Please continue to see your doctor and also experiment by observing what foods make things worse or better.  Consider taking a probiotic such as the Doctor Ohira brand.  Peace and good health.

Gum can cause this.: Both the sweeteners and the method of chewing may cause "gassiness". Try a different gum and see if the problem persists.If it does-close your mouth whilst chewing.Good manners anyway.

If you have: missed your period - taking a home pregnancy test would be prudent. The gastro-intestinal symptoms could be related to diet, viral infection or other causes. Feeling poked from inside would not be related to pregnancy (don't feel kicking early on during pregnancy).  Take care.

See a doctor: Hard lumps are bad.  Growing lumps are bad. Having discomfort with eating is bad.  GO SEE A DOCTOR TOMORROW!  I hope this helps and they find something easily fixed and you feel great soon. A primary care doc or even an urgent care clinic is anfine place to start.

Bloating: Sounds awful. Best approach is to visit a GI specialist and tell him your problems since so many things can cause this that only a direct exam can help.
