started 50mg zoloft (sertraline) this am. now sick to stomach, neck and head hurt, stomach hurts sweating and feeling dehydrated..helpful hints to feel better??

Some ideas...: Consider: 1.  Starting at lower dose, e.g., 25mg daily for a few days, then 50.  2.  Take with food.  3.  Drink plenty of water.  4.  Hang in there, as these side-effects usually ease up in a couple days (but not always).  5.  Talk to your prescribing doctor; he or she may have other suggestions.  Hope you feel better soon.

i had a minor headache and it's progressively gotten worse. and my stomach has started to hurt and my heads pounding and im super tired, what's wrong?

Migraines are common: However, if your blood pressure is high, and your face gets flushed red, and your heart races--and it comes and goes at weird tines, you could have something called a pheochromocytoma.  However, if your mom had migraines, or it's around your cycle, it can be a very genetic thing.  Triptans, such as relpax, (eletriptan) zomig, frova, or treximet are helpful because they work fast, and don't make you sleepy!

i am sweating extremely bad but my skin is ice cold.  my bp is 100/60 and my stomach hurts.   i'm also nauseated.    help??

Go to ER: Abdominal pain and nausea can be due to a large number of conditions ranging from a viral gastroenteritis to peptic ulcer disease and acute cholecystitis, to name a few. Severe sweating is worrisome. In the setting of abdominal pain it raises the possibility of a heart attack. Get evaluated in the ER to be on the safe side. If still in pain go by ambulance if possible.

i've started experiencing night sweats, even when it's not hot and i'm not feeling. there's also excessive sweating when i am stressed or anxious. i sometimes wake up with a dull headache and my head feels heavy. i am constantly tired. should i worry?

Night sweats: True night sweats occur because of fever that breaks during the night. Get a thermometer and take your temperature (and write down the results) 3-4 times a day for a few days. See a doctor soon if any fever (some temps &gt;100F or 38C). If symptoms continue with no fever, probably not a serious health problem -- but see your doctor for sure if your symptoms continue. Good luck.

Several things: Problems like these can only be correctly handled by your doctor in person.  He/she needs to listen to you, perform an examination and possibly run labs or other tests. That's the only way he/she can find out what's going on and what to do about it.

Consult a doctor: Depending on the length of time of your symptoms, the quality of the symptoms and whether there are any warning signs such as bleeding, fever, you may have irritable bowel syndrome. However, any diagnosis must be made only after consultation with a medical doctor preferably a GI specialist.

Headache: Probably a mild concussion an d it should resolve. However if the headache persists or gets worse or if you have visual changes or start vomiting or get increasingly drowsy  go  immediatelly to an er.

Addisons: Are you referring to Addisons disease?  The inheritance of this is not extremely clear.  Could you have it?  Yes.  Do you have it?  It seems you do not.  What are your dark spots?
