Not if done correct: Stretching can aid recovery from shin splints but it must be done carefully so as not to worsen the overuse injury. A physical therapist may be of great help in recovering from these.

U haf 2 do different: What do you do to cause the shin splints?  You may need to stop for a while than gradually return, walking with a normal gait and running in the pool with water to your shoulder level before running on ground again.  Has your gait been evaluated for things that can be changed.  Have you tried taping  your arches or wearing orthotics.  Calf stretching and quad sets before running,  ice after helps.

You might be correct: But it may be a few different diagnosis, including things that may be important for you to know about sooner rather than later. Tell your mom, I suggested you get taken to an orthopaedic surgeon for evaluation, &amp; to ensure there is nothing to worry about, and that there is nothing growing in your bone, for example. At your age things that can cause such complaint, range from mild to serious stuff.

Leg pain: You have the classical characteristic of what is called  exertional comparmental syndrome, and usually due to the increasecomparmental pressure of the leg during exercise.The diagnosis is made by measurments of the comparment pressure during exercise.Blood test, x-ray are negatives.
