Hard to say.: The result is slightly abnormal, but whether it is risky or not would depend on the results of all of the rest of the liver tests and the clinical setting. Can't really tell: Lab results usually are numbers, and numbers are just numbers, with little meaning unless a doctor takes in the whole picture of what's going on with his patient.  If the patient's SGOT (an enzyme measured in a blood sample) is mildly higher than the reference range, the ordering doctor may or may not consider the result a problem, depending on the patient's illnesses and exercise activities.

: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, your lab result are not a cause for concern, Do not take alcohol. If you have chronic Hep B,it is treatable and you should see a doctor.

Take it easy: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Having said that, your liver enzymes are near normal and no cause for concern. For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, low fat milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex.

Find cause: As a pathologist, i always tell folks to look at the person more than the labs. High SGPT is hepatitis, hemochromatosis, wilson's, or drug toxicity until proven otherwise. Usually it is proved otherwise, but we need to rule these out. Once done, easy on the alcohol and hit the gym hard and the lifestyle-related causes of high SGPT (the most common ones) will be history and you'll feel better.
