It could stem from a number of genitourinary issues...Prostate, urethral, bladder, etc. I would strongly advise you to check with your family doc and/or a urologist for a complete history and physical eval., .

Possible Yeast Infxn: If you have been on antibiotics recently or are sexually active, consider yeast,  urinary tract or sexually transmitted infection. From your description a yeast infection sounds most likely in the absence of burning or frequency with urination and otherwise normal vaginal discharge. There are over-the-counter medicines available. If symptoms persist despite that you should be evaluated in person.

A urologist could evaluate your with urinary bladder dynamic studies and coach you in how to improve pelvic muscle performance, if this is your problem.

Dehydrated or UTI: If you get dehydrated, your body's response is  to concentrate your urine more in to preserve water. This can make it smell strong. Drinking more water will reverse it. A urinary tract infection (UTI) can also change the odor. You may also have burning or pain, frequent urges, fever, or back pain with a uti. If drinking more doesn't help and you have any of these symptoms, get urine checked.

No: How long you are able to go without passing urine is a function of the size of the bladder and the strength of the sphincter. Avoiding urination can cause dilation of the bladder and can lead to bladder or kidney infections. Your bladder is a muscle but when it is stretched with too much urine it actually is weaker and contracts less efficiently when you do go to urinate.
