Allergy or polyps: Your symtoms are not specific and could be caused by a range of problems.  Allergy, deviated nasal septum or nasal polyps can all cause this problem.  Side effects of medication can cause this as well.  You need to see an otolaryngologist for an exam to help decide the course of treatment.

Nose swelling: May have fracture from exercises or cellulitis ( infection/ inflammation) ,sinusitis or rosacea ( https://www.aad.org/public/diseases/acne-and-rosacea/rosacea#causes). May need antibiotics . Follow up with ENT( ear nose and throat doctor-otolaryngology)  and get imaging to rule out fracture and get treatment .

Environment: It is likely that dust or other irritants in the air of the bedroom contribute to nasal blockage.Sometimes a sensitivity to dust mites that accumulate in pillows can be a contributing factor as it can in the bedding. There are allergy shield pillow and bedding covers available to help reduce accumulation but a new pillow may also be needed.

Not a cold!: No one has a year round cold.  If your symptoms are constant congestion and postnasal drainage, it can mimic a cold but is more likely caused by allergy.  You need to see your physician to determine if your symptoms are related to allergies or structural problems.

Depends: In the USA this drug is approved for use once daily in kids 4 and older. It is not approved for younger kids. Nasal wash with saline is the approved therapy for younger kids.
