why do my lungs feel heavy and sore and tight when i am standing up but normal when i'm lying down?

Heaviness: I don't think the discomfort emanates from your lungs, but would be more likely from the rib cage muscles that tense up while you're standing.and relax when you're lying down. Stress and tension may play a role. However if you're experiencing shortness of breath with exertion or have cough, wheezing or localized rib tenderness, see you physician for evaluation.

i am extremely tired, loss of appetite, and my body is sore. i feel like i have mucus stuck in my lungs and i also feel soreness in my back... could you shed some light on this for me?

Walking: pneumonia or a lingering infection is my impression.

Cough: May be ribs rather than kings and ibuprofen would help. If it's lungs and you have no fever might be asthma. Speak to your doctor

Body burns up?: Do you mean actual fever? Sore lungs: well you will need a comprehensive physicial exam, x-rays and pulmonary function studues. You question cannot be answered without an exam and further testing.

Throat &amp; Lung Issues: Self-diagnosis isn't helpful under these conditions.  Please see your doctor.  He/she can help clear up whatever is going on faster.  Congrats on becoming smoke free.  Please don't let this become an excuse to smoke again.  Peace and good health.

See your doctor: Pain in the back of the chest, when taking a deep breath, can be caused by several conditions.  The ribs or muscles might be sore, but they should also be sore when you push on the spot.  The lining of the lung ("pleura") may also be inflamed, and this is usually a sharper kind of pain.  It would be wise to let your doctor examine you and possibly order tests to determine the exact cause.

i have a sore swollen throat and pain in the lungs, what to do?

Seek medical : Attention.  You have a significantly sore throat w swollen tonsils / lymph nodes – see your medical provider ; get a streph throat test ; culture. Saltwater gargles are very helpful. Mix a teaspoon of salt in 8 oz of warm water – gargle with this several times a day. You can gargle with aloe vera juice a couple of times per day. A mixture of chamomile tea with honey ; a small amount of lemon juice.

my lungs are very sore and often cough up blood and black, ive smoked marijuan in bongs for three years aswell as cugarettes im 17. there so sore?

Cough: Depending on the length of symptoms and whether associated with fever chills weightloss you will need to make sure you don't have pneumonia or some other lung infection.  I would get to the doctor for a chest X-ray , lab work and possibly some antibiotics for starters
