Sweaty sleeper: Is he otherwise a good sleeper? Does he snore, gasp or move around during sleep? If yes, sweating may reflect a sleep disorder. Otherwise, the normal fall in body temperature during sleep may be impeded by over-insulation with too many blankets, comforters, or a sleeping room temperature that’s too high. These processes differ between men and women. Try letting him set the thermostat ;-)

Arm falling asleep: 12 hours is definitely a long time to regain normal feeling to the arm.  What do you mean exactly by "falling asleep."  Does your arm feel numb? pins/needles? weakness?, does the arm feel colder?  Any swelling when compared to the other arm? If that is the case you should go see a doctor.  He/she should check your pulses and possibly do an ultrasound to evaluate for a venous clot (DVT).

Bad sign: If ulcers aren't treated or treatment isn't effective, serious complications may occur. The most common complications include bleeding, perforation of the stomach or duodenal walls, and obstruction of the digestive tract.

Enuresis: Enuresis, or bed wetting, can occur not only in young children, but may persist into adulthood in a small % of adults, esp those who are deep sleepers.  There are medications and visualization techniques to treat.  See if his doctor can help or suggest a referral.  Type of dr that might help:  pediatrician, family med, internist, urologist.  Be supportive and loving.

Nasal : Nasal congestion commonly can occur when laying down to sleep.   Nasal congestion can be due to many causes including nasal septum deviation, nasal valve compromise, turbinate hypertrophy/dysfunction, allergies, polyps, large adenoids etc.   
Seeing an ear nose and throat doctor will help in determining the cause(s) of your husband's nasal congestion and help direct appropriate therapy.  
I would use caution with over the counter nasal decongestant sprays, only for very temporary use, they are bad for the health of the nose when used long term.  They are best avoided except in cases of acute, short term use.

at night sometimes my  husband has a tightness in his throat and can't sleep. it usually goes away after a bit & sleeps. what is this?causes it ?

CPAP: Although not covered by insurance in the absence of a positive sleep study is very effective at controlling snoring. Many units can be purchased for under $500. Nasal pillows work well and are well tolerated by many who don't like the mask. Weight loss if appropriate is also advised.
