Biopsy : If the lesion is in your proximal femur you will need a referral to an orthopedic surgeon that specializes in orthopedic oncology for further testing and possibly a biopsy.  This will give info about whether it is likely to be causing your symptoms and if further treatment is indicated.

Yes: If you're not physically fit or if the amount of walking you did was way more than your legs are accustomed to, then this is probably the reason why they are hurting. Take some rest, elevate them, warm bath and good gentle massage may relieve the pain.

Leg pain: Leg pain can be the result of a variety of causes from muscular, pinched nerves or ligament strain.  You should have that evaluated if it does not improve.

Possibly: In theory, since the femur is thick and strong, it can withstand more force than smaller, "weaker" bones; however, there's really no way to predict if a certain fall would have resulted in a broken bone since there are many other factors to consider.

how long can i expect pain in my knee am leg from breaking my femur and having surgery to correct it. i also had a hematoma they had to cut and drain from my back it hurts really bad to. its been about a month since the surgery?
