is it possible to change your eye color? i am perfecty happy with my eyes but i was just interested. is is possible to go from say a grey eye to a green eye? and can they make different patterns?

When : When a baby is born it may have blue eyes. As the baby grows toward age six, the color may change and become darker. Hazel eyes can look different over time which is partially a function of the environment they are seen in. There can also be changes in color during puberty. In panama a surgical procedure is performed to  implant a colored lens in the eye.  Iridology studies the iris of the eye as a microsystem which reflects the health of the body. They indicate that patterns in the iris can change in response to different health issues. However, i believe they are looking for small changes with a magnifying glass. Some people change the appearance of their eyes using colored contact lenses.

why do i have hazel eyes (green with an admixture of amber) if all my relatives have either blue or gray eyes. they also all inherited eye color from their parents, but i didn't. why?

Chromosome 15: Eye color is determined by the amount of melanin in the iris... the more melanin, the darker the color. Multiple genes are involved. While a child’s eye color can often be predicted by the eye colors of his or her parents and other relatives, variations sometimes produce unexpected results.

Don't be bullied: Please don't ever feel like you have to change yourself because of someone bullying you. Many people think brown eyes are great or even the best color. Often people insult others because of their own insecurity

if you do decide you want a different eye color, i'd suggest seeing an optometrist or ophthalmologist to see if your eyes will handle contacts--different brands of colored contacts exist.

Maybe: A bluish color can be normal but it can also be side-effect of some medications.  See an ophthalmologist for evaluation.

Depends: Thinning of the sclera can result in the pigmented layer of the retina showing through.  Mild thinning is of no concern.  Extensive thinning can be a problem.  This usually appears very dark in appearance.

Arcus senilis: Without seeing your eyes, the most likely cause of a ring in an older individual would be this condition. A less likely, but important condition to check would be kayser-fleischer ring, which is a sign of copper build-up due to wilson's disease. Get an eye exam to be sure.

Eye variant: Most eyes have the same approximate coloration but occasionaly there  are those with some variant such as you have.  As long as the vision is fine in each eye and the color difference is life long, then this is nothing to worry about.

Normal for now: The gray may be coming from blood that is slowly being removed from the white of the eyes. It can also be from other issues such as liver or kidney problems. You should seek out advice from either your primary doctor or an eye doctor

Pink on the eye: May be conjunctivits. Most is viral some is bacteria ( usually have a discharge if bacteria, may also be allergic, Sometimes if the nose is congested  there is back up for fluid to the eye and that can cause eye swelling  and other issues  .  F/u and call pediatrician this AM
