Hormonal issues: Some women react differently to even subtle changes in hormones.  This nay be your case.  Some women commonly get vreast soreness when they ovulate.  If severe, see and discuss with your gyn, best wishes.

Common problem: Fibrocystic disease/changes is very common in women.  This is most often seen during the menstrual cycle.  Breast feel lumpy and painful which is caused by cyst formation (fluid filled areas) due to hormonal changes.  Some women may have these changes without being on their menstrual cycle.  Caffeine may cuase the cysts to be overactive resulting in pain. This is not related to cancer.

Missed ovulation: You likely had a normal, common occurrence known as an anovulatory cycle (your ovary didn't release an egg this month).  A build-up of estrogen causes the breast tenderness. If you are regularly using birth control, you should call your ob/gyn for an in-office pregnancy test.  If still negative, they will likely give you a short course of Progesterone to induce your period and "reset" your cycle.

Pregnancy will ...: In a very  early pregnancy phase- sometimes b-hcg level is still very low and pregnancy test kid can not detect the level yet. You need to repeat your pregnancy test again in the next 1-2 weeks. If that is negative again- you go to see your gynecologist to discuss your problem with your doc  and have a blood work done.

Irregular MP: Sex will not change your mp but stress can. A hormonal screen - repeat pregnancy test, fsh, lh , Estradiol and TSH initially may answer the reason for your menstrual pattern.

You need an exam: Younger women tend to have denser - more cystic breast tissue than older women - which is why Mammograms are many times hard to interpret. Sometimes hormonal factor - (ie menstrual cycle) changes can cause these symptoms.

Congrats : Congratulations on your pregnancy. Breast tenderness is very normal in pregnancy. There is not a solution to make them comfortable since breast changes are a natural and normal physiologic  process as your body adapts  to pregnancy.
