Most bumps would be benign, non std related ones, such as small sebacious cysts (oil cysts), whereas some may represent genital warts that are caused by hpv (human papilloma virus) that can be sexually transmitted. Are you sure no STD?: Since you know it's not an STD, he must have been examined by a health professional. What was her or his diagnosis? If not examined, maybe still an STD. Two of the most common causes of painless genital bumps are warts and molluscum contagiosium, both of which are STDs. Otherwise maybe sebaceous cysts; prominent sebaceous glands ("Fordyce spots"); skin tags; etc. Sex is safe with any of these.

Not all skin lesions are std's but visual inspection is very important in addition to clinical history. Also, some skin lesions may resolve spontaneously and are an std, making one believe that everything is okay.If there is a chance it may a sexually contracted lesion, it needs to be checked.

Not to worry...: Without the benefit of examining you, i would guess that you have a condition known as ppp, or pearly penile papules.  This is a totally benign condition and requires no treatment.  If you are concerned, see you doctor for a proper evaluation.
