Onions: If you smell like onions you might be eating too many onions. Try cutting out onions and see if your sweat smells differently.

See your doctor.: There are many possible causes for body odor in young children.  Some are minor, but other causes can be potentially very serious.  I recommend that you see your child's doctor as soon as possible to be evaluated.  Good luck!

Not 'acidic': 'pop' claims about 'acid' and 'alkaline' body types are totally made up. Certain bacteria that some people have degrade certain products in your sweat to certain short-chain fatty acids that have a vinegar smell. Shower a few times a day and this will probably help.

Alcohol breakdown: If you drink a lot, you will create an excess of lactic acid in the blood stream.  It will eventually leach out and start to smell when you sweat.  It does have a soured milk odor.

PH off/infection?: Bacterial infections typically cause a bad odor.  The bacterial infection could be an overgrowth that represents a change the pH and a change in the vaginal flora.  It could also be from a sexually transmitted infection.  Also, you should make sure that you didn't forget a tampon inside.  See your doctor for the appropriate tests/cultures and treatment.

See below: #1 - change your diet. Lots of spices and foods used in Indian cooking cause body odor. They are healthy for you but this is the side effect.

#2 - wear deodorant. All people everywhere have some degree of body odor. You must wear deodorant to counteract the odor and present yourself as clean and able to take of yourself when around other people. And also so other people don't start feeling sick.

?germs in dandruff?: Many infants have a buildup of dead skin flakes on the scalp that persists beacuse normal baby shampoos don't have the enzyme action of adult products.Also, many moms are reluctant to scrub the scalp or touch the soft spot. A simple wash with a dandruf shampoo will often cut the odors, but sometimes needs to be done for sevreal days to be effective.Ck with your dr if simple measures don't fix it.

idk whats going on but ever since i started taking the antidepressant prozac ive been noticing my body odor change. and my aura smells like a metal ammonia type smell and it wont go away i dont know if its even from prozac.. what could it be?

: Please talk to the doctor who prescribed Prozac to ascertain if a different antidepressant could be used to replace Prozac.
In the meantime, start exercising. Begin with low intensity exercise such as walking and gradually increase the intensity so that you sweat profusely. It may take a few months for the full effect.  Exercise as effective as medications for depression.
