Maybe: It could be. The only way to know for sure if pain inthat area is diverticulitis (which is inflammation) is to get a CT scan. See your doctor for an exam and s/he will help you try to decide if you need the CT scan.

diarrhea is under control after brat diet, but now feel sharp pain in lower back and left side of the stomach, is it due to constipation ?

Unlikely: From your history, you just got over diarrhea, so it is unlikely that your current symptoms are now due to constipation.  More likely your symptoms are related to the same virus/infection that was causing your diarrhea or from introducing food too quickly after a diarrheal illness.  Before eating a regular diet, continue with bland easy to digest non oily foods.  Yogurt is helpful.  Soup, rice etc

i am having pain in my back on the left side and it is in my lower back.  what could be the cause of it? i thought it was just constipation but now i'm not so sure.  it has been hurting for several hours and the pain is getting worse.

As : As with most pain conditions, there can be a variety of potential problems that can cause the pain that you are describing.  It is difficult to diagnose with the short description given and without a proper physical examination.  Pain is often a sign of inflammation.  Inflammation often occurs when something is irritated.  Irritation occurs from a variety of different things.

If the pain does not improve, you should see someone who is qualified to make an appropriate diagnosis.  Typically, the first place to start is your primary care physician.  They may order some imaging.  They may refer you to a board certified and fellowship trained interventional pain specialist, like me.

As always, i would highly suggest you do your research when seeking medical help.  Find a physician who meets, or even better, exceeds the basic qualifications to practice in their specific field or sub-specialty.

CONSTIPATION: Sx  of constipation is more of abdominal pain not backpain. Check your urine instead if with frequency and backpain.

Could be Stool: Constipation can cause back pain in the areas of the small and large bowel.  I would see your doctor if you can't get anywhere with stool softeners or OTC bowel medications.

Needs evaluation: Especially in your age group, there are many concerning conditions that could cause those symptoms. You need to speak with your physician, and if you have not had one, get a colonoscopy.

i have recurrence of uti just finish with my antibiotic i  still see like particle in my urine like foam and my back and side hurt should i ask for a culture i'm always constipated what can this be .

Yes: If you have just finished Cephalexin and still have symptoms of uti, a culture is indicated.  Constipation is caused by diet and dehydration.  Drink 10+ cups of water daily and eat large portions of whole foods with each meal; 3-4 fruits (apple a day) + whole grain cereal/bread.  A large salad using something other than iceberg lettuce and lots of legumes (beans).   Then walk 1+ miles a day.

Taking narcotics?: I am assuming that the back pain and headaches came first and the constipation followed... If that hunch is right then I am going to assume that your medications include some opioid like vicodin. This would certainly cause constipation and is a poor choice for either headache or chronic back pain. If you have not already done so, consider seeing a spine specialist or neurologist for back and head.

i've had a laparoscopy done in 2019 and ever since every month when i'm ovulating my stomach swells up like a pregnant lady. but im not. i'm always constipated and have a bulge on the left side of my abdomen. im always tired and have lower back pains?

Doctor can examine: Patients who complain of constipation usually don't say they have ongoing back pain that comes with it. Thus, it would be a good idea to get a primary care doctor's evaluation to see if something else is going on with the back. One should write down details of symptoms, such as when back pain occurs (is it only during pushing out stool, is it only after pooping, or only before pooping, etc...).
