Multiple: Some depends on whether the baby is breast fed or bottle fed but most babies stool 1 to 7or 8 times per day. Some can even skip several days> most important is the consistency not the frequency.  Babies should have soft to watery stools not hard little balls of stool.

: Breast babies can do a little smear every feed or a cradle filler every 7-10 days. Breast milk is a well-designed food source compared to formula, where more debris is left over after processing. I would not assume the change in pattern has any meaning. If the kid doesn't go in 3-5 days, a little Vaseline coated q-tip inserted in the anus could stimulate an evacuation. Constipation: If you are breastfeeding, your child can have a stool with each feeding, go once a day or go as long as a week without having a stool. The child is not constipated, but a peculiarity of breast feeding.

Common: In infants it is common for them to have a bowel movement after each feed. Most important is to see if the child is behaving and responding well. If baby is sucking well, feeding well, has no vomiting, smiles and is active, there is no cause for concern. But if you remain worried take the baby to a pediatrician to have the baby checked.

Green poo: The poo is colored by bile added during digestion.It starts out dark green and transitions through yellows to brown over time.Green poo just means the material  is moving through faster. If the kid seems to be better on the comfort, stay with it. The feed seldom has anything to do with or help in treating colic. It normally fades at 4 mo when they start to control their movement more.

Could be: The first thing I would want to make sure is that your child is gaining weight appropriately and thriving.  If that is the case, there are numerous things that could be of help, such as different formulas.  That decision can be best made with your child's doctor who will know what formula your child is and/or has been on.  Good luck.
