im 15weeks with di/di twins. i get pelvic pressure from time to time. it ranges from mild-moderate. ive had my cervix checked multiple times & it remains long & closed. my obgyn isnt worried but i am terrified to lose my babies. request cerclage?

Twin prgnancies ?'s: Although twin pregnancies cause accelerated pressure and discomfort throughout, the best safeguard for premature delivery is cervical dilation, which can be measured fairly accurately with serial ultrasound.  If significant shortening or dilation of the cervix is detected, a cerclage may be advised if the pregnancy is less than 30 weeks.  Stay in touch with your OB provider.

both babies are head down at 24 weeks. i have a lot of pelvic pressure and cramping at times but cervix is long and closed. this is the first time theyve been head down. is my risk for pre-term labor increased now that theyre head down?

: Discuss your symptoms and findings with the Labor and Delivery nurse and your OB specialist. The dilatation of the cervix is one way to assess risk of delivery. Please follow up and stay positive.

: Fetus is well protected with amniotic fluid, no way that can US probe hurt the baby.

will the pressure of flying hurt the unborn baby?

Accepted Answer

No: The baby is encased in amniotic fluid that along with your abdomen make it impervious to pressure changes. However, it is not recommended to fly post 7 months due to the risk of inciting premature labor.

is it normal to feel a sense of "pushing down" from my baby? it feel like hes about to fall out even when i lay down i can feel the pressure 38 weeks.

Common : That is very common. Most people describe that sensation as they near their due date.

Wrist sprain: Possibly overused the muscles around the wrist joint.  Can use a pharmacy wrist splint and take some Tylenol or ibuprofen as directed on bottle label.
Go easy on it for a few days..  Call in for virtual visit if desired.

could the baby pushing on my arteries cause high blood pressure?

No: High blood pressure is often due to the genes you have inherited, nutritional status, and/or stress. You can't do much about your genes but you can control what you expose them to. Eat plenty of fruits and vegetables, sleep at least 7 hours at night, and begin your day with some meditative practice. Research shows that meditation actually lowers blood pressure.

when i put pressure on my left wrist, it hurts really bad on the outside.it use to not do this as often but it is more now.only hurts when pushing?

Tendon itis: Sounds like tendinitis I would try  taking an anti-inflammatory and immobilize your wrist with a splint for 10 days

32 weeks 1 day and been having lots a pressure in vaginal area like a pushing feeling what's it mean is it baby ?

Check with: your OB-GYN but I do think your symptoms are quite common at 32 weeks!!!!
