Needs check up: Big baby? Tough, long labor? Significant tear? Episiotomy? If you are indeed passing gas through your vaginal, you may have a rectovaginal fistula.  Since  you have not mentioned other symptoms, let's hope not.  Get checked to be sure.

I would use vaseline to sooth  and see Dr. Likely still have pin worms.

Can't pass stool: If you have a strong urge for a BM but can't pass stool, work from below. Insert a glycerin rectal suppository or use a fleet's enema. If the stool is still impacted you may need to be disimpacted rectally by a nurse or physician unless you can administer a high enema.

Unlikely to spread: if you maintain good hygiene , although it is contagious virus  need repeated body to body contact . At 21 you still  a candidate for vaccination . Speak to your doctor also a preventive measure for genital  cancers .

See below: He is very likely constipated and may need a pediatric enema to help loosen up the hard stool in the rectal vault (possibly why his anus looks larger - due to holding the stool in).  Try it.  If no success or pain develops, see your doc.
