Not 100%: Normal fertility estimates about 40% chance of conception  in a cycle. Keep at it, if no success in 9-12 months, see your Gyn. If history of STI or other Gyn issues, consult sooner.

U OK, baby likely ok: Congrats on the pregnancy! at 7 wks the uterus is still egg-shaped and maybe size of a large orange or small grapefruit and thus still swell protected/cushioned deep in your lower belly area. Simple bump into side which if not really hurting you much likely is not affecting baby. If you are having much pain, cramping/spotting/bleeding, then seek care asap. Otherwise, congrats! good luck.

Possible: It's always possible, depending upon the medication and your medical problems.  Or you or your partner (or both) may have fertility problems -- both of you need to be evaluated.

Review : The baby is developing and your Obstetrician can review the ultrasound measurements. The growth of the organs is ongoing. If you do not have Diabetes and are not taking medications, and otherwise are healthy, the delivery birth weight is most likely normal.

Pregancy is amiracle: Pregnancy is a miracle in itself, and isn't automatic at a certain age, weight or time. In fact, the stats are that pregnancy only occurs 20% of the time. So, congratulations on yours, and not clear about your 36 year old friend's status. Best is to weigh closer to your ideal weight, so you don't stress your body. So, losing 50 pounds was helpful.
