Possibly. : Read the label.  If it contains ibuprofen than NO. ( because Motrin is ibuprofen ) if not, you are probably ok. Your pharmacist should be able to help you if you have the boxes

Tough: You can simply stop the muscle relaxer. The vicodin should be tapered off. You should try physical therapy at the same time.

does pain killer and muscle relaxer medications react to anesthesia after 24 hours of back surgery? i took hydrocodine/acetaminophen 5-325 tb & tizanidine on the second day after surgery then after 1 hour i felt dizzy and fainted twice?

: The effect of the anesthesia should be fully gone by 24 hrs.  The post-op meds may have exacerbated a blood pressure drop which caused syncope, and the effect of the two is additive.  Discuss this with your doctor, so that meds can be properly adjusted for your needs.

Not likely: medications cause weird symptoms but CTS has a fairly specific presentation that is usually evident on examination or testing. EMG/NCS is a very reliable indication as to nerve compression. Ultrasound examination is another simple diagnostic. There are treatment options that depend on those test results.

Muscle relaxants: Basically, almost all of the muscle relaxants are of comparable effectiveness (cyclobenzaprine, methocarbamol, carisoprodol). Some have more abuse potential (carisoprodol [soma]) and valium. The most potent (but too strong for most minor spasms) is baclofen, which is used for patients with spasm due to severe brain or nerve damage (cerebral palsy or multiple sclerosis).

Maybe...: Try magnesium oxide either 250 mg or 400 mg twice a day. This helps prevent migraine and may reduce some forms of muscular tensions. (it may also loosen your stool!) have patience with regards to the headaches; it may take 4 - 6 weeks to become effective.

Vistaril and Buspar (buspirone) are for Anxiety, Topamax and Neurontin for seizures,
and Celexa for Depression.
