are there muscles located on the sides of head behind the ears. i been having crazy spasms there for a month,  wakes me up in the mornings, both sides?

Yes: There are muscles on the side of the head, fans out and back, known as temporalis. YOU can find good images on Google images if you search temporalis. You mentioned having spasms on head and chest muscles. Talk to your doctor to rule out any mineral deficiency such as calcium or magnesium.

when i turn my head right i feel a muscle pull in the left side of my neck and whole left ear. not painful but irritating. nothing other way around.

Vague: A thorough history and exam are needed to help determine your problem.  Was trauma involved?  Sleep wrong? Posture?  I would see a md or do.

Not your ear: The sound is not likely coming from the ear itself, or a muscle at all. More likely a ligament or bone in your upper neck is the source. You would be wise to start off with a visit to,your family doctor, especially if he/she is a DO. In  any case, a physiatrist may be able to help you sort this out. Good luck!

Neck: May have pulled or strained a muscle or less commonly have a neuralgia or nerve issue. Start with warm compresses three times a day and ibuprofen, but if it gets worse have it checked out

Stress: Muscle tension can be due to anxiety or postural problems, and can get worse the longer it persists without treatment. Stretching exercises and postural retraining should be helpful. But if no relief is seen within 6 weeks of corrective measures, you will need a physical exam by a physician.

Pinched nerve: pinched cervical nerve--it will go away ---may have a mild residual muscle spasm for a few days----sometime you will need a cervical neck adjustment---
